BG Staffing is currently seeking a dependable and experienced Apartment Maintenance Technician for a temporary assignment at a multifamily community in Greenfield, Indiana (46140). Position Overview

As an Apartment Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day maintenance operations of the property. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with apartment maintenance, excellent troubleshooting skills, and the ability to complete work orders efficiently while maintaining a high level of customer service.

This role requires someone who can work independently, manage multiple tasks, and help ensure the property remains safe, functional, and attractive for residents.

Responsibilities

* Complete routine and emergency maintenance work orders

* Perform general apartment maintenance and repairs

* Assist with apartment make-readies and unit turns

* Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, and HVAC-related issues

* Repair and maintain appliances as needed

* Perform drywall, painting, carpentry, and general upkeep tasks

* Conduct preventative maintenance throughout the community

* Ensure all work is completed in a safe, timely, and professional manner

* Maintain property standards and resident satisfaction

Qualifications

* Previous apartment maintenance experience required

* Knowledge of general maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting

* Experience with plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance repair preferred

* Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively

* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

* Excellent communication and customer service skills

Requirements

* Reliable personal vehicle required

* Own tools required

* Ability to lift, carry, and move maintenance equipment and materials as needed

* Ability to work a full-time schedule and complete assigned tasks safely
