Operations drives delivery of tens of thousands of products worldwide. Reliability Maintenance & Engineering (RME) partners ensure all robotics and material handling equipment operate effectively. Join us as a Senior Mechatronics & Robotics Technician to lead service technicians in installing and repairing automated packaging and distribution equipment, design solutions for complex problems, manage projects, and mentor staff.
Responsibilities- Maintain and oversee material handling equipment (MHE) and facility equipment, including Fire Life Safety (FLS) systems.
- Lead and develop a team of service technicians, creating training plans and coordinating with vendors for planned and emergency repairs.
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot relay logic, ladder diagrams, control components, photo‑eyes, motor starters, limit switches, proximity sensors, solenoids, and related equipment.
- Create and close out work orders, documenting labor hours, equipment maintenance, parts used, and develop job plans for emergency repair of critical assets.
- Perform physical tasks such as moving up to 49 lb, standing and walking up to 12 hours, climbing ladders and gangways safely, and daily bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching as required.
- Comply with shift scheduling requirements, acknowledging operational constraints on shift assignments.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of experience with Microsoft Office products and applications.
- Ability to work flexible schedule/shift, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
- At least 4 years of predictive and preventative maintenance experience.
- At least 4 years of repairing material handling equipment (MHE), automated conveyor systems, or related mechanical/electrical equipment.
- At least 4 years of reading blueprints and electrical schematics.
- At least 4 years of electrical and electronic principles experience.
- At least 4 years of demonstrating safety standards compliance.
- At least 4 years of troubleshooting and diagnostics of MHE.
- Associate’s degree in Mechatronics or related technical field.
- Experience leading engineering or technical teams as a mentor or tech lead.
- Experience working with MHE safety standards in accordance with OEM requirements.
- At least 2 years of programmable logic controller (PLC) programming experience.
- At least 2 years of robotics system components and controls experience.
Location:
USA, IN, Greenfield | Pay: 40.00–46.00 USD hourly.
Base salary range listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation determined by experience, qualifications, and location.
