Nine Star Connect is seeking a highly motivated Installation & Repair Technician to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll install and maintain essential broadband, security, and voice services that keep homes and businesses across Central Indiana connected. This is a Bargaining Unit position with access to continued training and advancement opportunities.
What You’ll Do:- Install and repair broadband, security, access control, wireless, key systems (phone systems), and voice services for residential and business customers.
- Use fiber and copper infrastructure to set up and maintain systems, test equipment, and program devices.
- Troubleshoot service issues, wiring problems, faulty equipment, and network disruptions.
- Provide product training to customers on installed services.
- Complete service documentation including work orders, reports, billing, and timesheets.
- Maintain a clean and stocked service vehicle and ensure proper use of company tools and equipment.
- Participate in an on-call rotation for repair and emergency service.
- Operate company vehicles, including a bucket truck, and follow safety protocols for ladders and fall protection.
