Tax Supervisor

• Supervise all aspects of accounting, tax or audit engagements for clients, including status updates to engagement managers and adherence to quality control standards
• Develop a thorough understanding of clients' businesses and contribute to engagement analysis and planning
• Adhere to engagement budget constraints, complete assigned tasks within requested timelines, and explain variances when needed
• Achieve charge hour goals
• Review engagement team members' accounting, tax or auditing work and provide constructive review points
• Supervise and guide team members on engagements, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment
• Train and mentor engagement team members to support technical and professional development
• Assist Managers, Directors or Managing Directors with client billing
• Identify an industry or specialization area and develop related skills, knowledge and expertise
• Leverage industry knowledge and business acumen to incorporate cross-serve opportunities into client engagements
• Participate in practice development activities, including membership in qualified organizations and referring potential engagements
• Execute assigned administrative duties
• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned

• Bachelor's degree required in Accounting, Taxation or related field
• At least 3 years of experience in public accounting or related field
• Ability to manage deadlines, work on multiple assignments and prioritize each assignment as necessary
• Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization, both internally and externally
• Proficient use of applicable technology
• Must be able to travel based on client and business needs

Demonstrates expertise in accounting, tax, and audit engagements while effectively supervising and mentoring team members. Strong ability to manage deadlines, communicate across all organizational levels, and leverage industry knowledge for client engagement success.
