Special Education Teacher | Greenfield, Massachusetts

In this role, you’ll make an impactful difference every day, working with a supportive school community located near the Greenfield, MA area. Candidates with a moderate certification for grades 5-12 are sought to empower learners through direct instruction and tailored educational support.

• Active Special Education teaching certification for grades 5-12, with moderate disabilities endorsement
• Experience working with middle and/or high school students
• Strong understanding of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and direct service delivery
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills
• Ability to adapt instruction to meet the diverse needs of students

• Provide direct special education services to middle or high school students, helping each student achieve their fullest potential
• Develop and implement individualized lesson plans aligned with IEP goals
• Collaborate with other teachers, support staff, and families to foster an inclusive and positive learning environment
• Monitor and document student progress, making data-driven adjustments as needed
• Attend and actively participate in team meetings, reviews, and planning sessions
