Job Details

We are seeking a seasoned Accounting Manager to join our dynamic team in the manufacturing industry. This role will allow you to showcase your financial acumen, leadership skills, and strategic planning abilities. You will be at the forefront of our financial operations, ensuring our accounting functions are accurate, efficient, and in compliance with legal standards. This is a high‑impact role that will contribute significantly to our financial health and business strategy.

Salary: $90,000 – $118,000 per year

Responsibilities

Oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and payroll.

Conduct regular financial analysis, prepare detailed reports, and present findings to senior management.

Manage the preparation and submission of all financial reports, ensuring they comply with regulations and laws.

Develop and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles.

Perform cost accounting tasks and implement cost reduction strategies.

Coordinate and complete annual audits, manage tax preparation, and liaise with external auditors.

Participate in budget preparation and implementation, monitor expenses, and ensure we stay within budget.

Implement and monitor financial risk management strategies to safeguard the company’s assets.

Contribute to strategic planning and decision-making at the management level to align financial management with short and long‑term company goals.

Qualifications

A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. An MBA or relevant certification (such as CMA, CPA) is preferred.

A minimum of 5 years of experience in a managerial accounting role, preferably in the manufacturing industry.

Proficiency in financial management, financial reporting, cost accounting, general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, budgeting, financial analysis, tax preparation, payroll management, financial auditing, strategic planning, risk management, and financial accounting.

Advanced knowledge of accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel.

Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team.

Excellent analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to make data‑driven decisions.

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to clearly convey financial information to non‑financial colleagues.

Knowledge of legal and financial compliance regulations in the manufacturing industry.

A proactive problem‑solver who can manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
