Baystate Health - - Responsibilities:
Initiates and discontinues monitor equipment on admission, discharge, and transfer; assigns monitor to the patient; maintains telemetry logs.;
High-level surveillance of cardiac monitors; analyzes rhythms and notifies RN of changes.;
Maintains patient safety and responds to call bells and alarms; assists with activities of daily living.;
Records vital signs and essential measurements in the EMR; collaborates with the health care team.;
Participates in unit meetings and adheres to established work expectations.
