Baystate Health, a nationally recognized leader in healthcare quality and safety, and home to Baystate Franklin Medical Center, is looking for an Assistant Nurse Manager to join our Mental Health Unit in Greenfield, MA!

• Partners with the Nurse Manager to support daily unit operations and team leadership
• Helps ensure high-quality patient care and a safe, compliant practice environment
• Supports staff development, unit workflow, and day-to-day problem solving
• Demonstrates Baystate Health values and leadership behaviors
• Plays a key role in clinical quality, team engagement, operational efficiency, and resource stewardship

• 24/7 Supervision and Care:
  Staff, including psychiatrists, nurses, therapists, and social workers, are available around the clock to monitor patients, administer treatment, and provide therapeutic support.
• Structured Environment:
  The unit offers a structured daily routine that helps patients manage symptoms, with activities such as therapy sessions, group counseling, medication administration, and wellness monitoring.
• Safety and Security:
  The environment is designed to keep patients and staff safe, with restricted access, and protocols in place to manage potential risks.

Schedule:

40 hours, first shift, Monday through Friday

MA Registered Nurse License

American Heart Association BLS CPR (can be obtained after offer)

Minimum of 3-5 years of nursing experience with the most appropriate patient population being served by the care team.

Education:

Associates Degree in Nursing (Required)

Basic Life Support – American Heart Association

Certified Registered Nurse – Other

Registered Nurse – State of Massachusetts
