This position combines leadership with hands‑on clinical practice, allowing you to continue caring for patients while helping shape the future of ambulatory cardiology care.

What You'll Do
  • Provide day‑to‑day leadership and supervision for clinical nursing staff.
  • Foster a positive, collaborative culture focused on exceptional patient care and staff engagement.
  • Oversee clinical workflows to promote efficiency, quality, and patient satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with clinical standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Mentor, coach, and develop nursing staff to support professional growth.
  • Partner with physicians, advanced practitioners, and practice leadership to improve operations and patient outcomes.
  • Lead and participate in quality improvement and service excellence initiatives.
  • Serve on departmental and interdisciplinary committees.
  • Provide direct patient care as needed to support practice operations.

Practice Locations

This role supports our Cardiology practices located in:

  • Springfield, MA – 3300 Main Street
  • Northampton, MA – 325B King Street
  • Greenfield, MA – 164 High Street
Qualifications
  • Current Massachusetts RN license
  • AHA BLS Required
  • 4–5 years of clinical nursing experience required
  • Supervisory, Charge Nurse, or Team Lead experience
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to partner effectively with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
  • BSN preferred
  • Ambulatory care leadership experience preferred
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and process improvement skills
  • Demonstrated success building engaged, high‑performing clinical teams
Sign‑On Bonus Eligible

Sign‑on bonuses are available for qualified external candidates. Internal transfers are not eligible unless otherwise specified. Former Baystate Health employees may be eligible one year after separation.

Education:

Associates Degree in Nursing (Required)

Certifications:

Basic Life Support – American Heart Association

Registered Nurse – State of Massachusetts

Typically, a new hire can expect a starting salary somewhere in the lower part of the range. Actual salaries may vary by position and will be determined based on the candidate's relevant experience. No employee will be paid below the minimum of the range.

Pay ranges are listed as hourly for non‑exempt employees and based on assumed full‑time commitment for exempt employees.
