• Qualifications:
  • Bachelor degree in Nursing
  • License as Registered Nurse from the Board of Nursing
  • Certification as School Nurse from the Department of Education
  • Current first aid and CPR certification
  • Experience with school-age nursing; young adult experience preferred
  • Familiarity with public health requirements for public schools
  • Adequate skill with computer to manage computerized health data system (SNAP)

• DUTIES:
  • Provide health services to all students in accordance with State and Local regulations
  • Dispense medication to students per School Committee Policy
  • Provide health related information to groups of students and to students on an individual basis
  • Update and maintain Health Policy Manual as required by DOE
  • Assume responsibility for obtaining and maintaining health documentation for all students
• At least 2 year(s) of relevant experience preferred
• Bachelor degree preferred
