• Must have both Labor & Delivery and Postpartum experience
• Approximately 400 deliveries per year
• 11-bed L&D/Postpartum unit
• Core staffing of 4 RNs per shift
• C-sections performed on the unit (OR team scrubs and circulates; OB RN provides maternal and newborn care)

• BLS
• ACLS
• NRP
• AWHONN Basic Fetal Monitoring

• Labor: 1:1
• Postpartum: 2–3 couplets per nurse

• Labor & Delivery
• Antepartum
• Postpartum
• Cesarean section recovery

• Required to float as a 1:1 sitter only to:
  • Med/Surg
  • Emergency Department
  • ICU
  • Mental Health
• Will not take a nursing assignment when floating outside of Women's Services

• No routine weekend or holiday requirement listed.
• Occasional low-census call may occur.
