American Traveler is hiring a Labor & Delivery/Postpartum RN with cesarean support experience for a night shift LDRP position requiring active MA RN licensure.

• LDRP unit caring for labor, delivery, postpartum, and antepartum patients
• 11-bed unit with core staffing of 4 RNs per shift
• Approximately 400 deliveries performed per year
• Cesarean sections performed on the unit with OB RN supporting the patient and caring for the baby while the OR team scrubs and circulates
• NOC shift, 3x12s (19:00-07:30), 36 hours per week
• Patient ratios of 1:1 for laboring patients and 2-3 mom/baby couplets per nurse
• Required to float to Med/Surg, ED, ICU, or Mental Health as a 1:1 sitter without taking a nursing assignment
• May occasionally be placed on call during periods of low census

• Active MA RN license required
• Certifications required: NRP, ACLS, and AWHONN Basic Fetal Monitoring
• Labor & delivery and postpartum experience required

• Provide direct nursing care to laboring, postpartum, and antepartum patients
• Support cesarean section procedures by caring for the patient and newborn while OR staff manages surgical duties
