American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position requiring an active MA RN license and 2+ years of experience.

• Community hospital setting on a 43-bed Medical/Surgical/Telemetry unit
• Care for a variety of patients including cardiac, post-surgical, respiratory, opiate/alcohol withdrawal, and GI cases
• Common cases include chest pain rule out, post-op recovery (gallbladder, appendectomy, GYN, colectomy), pneumonia, CHF, withdrawal, cellulitis, COVID, and flu
• Patient ratios of 5-6:1
• Uses Cerner CIS for charting
• 3x12-hour AM shifts, 36 hours per week
• No on-call responsibilities

• Active MA RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• 2+ years of Med/Surg Tele nursing experience preferred

• Provide direct nursing care across a diverse med/surg/tele patient population in a community hospital environment
