Store Manager, Retail & Store Manager

Responsibilities

• People Development and Diversity: Lead, mentor, and develop the store team to achieve their full potential, conduct performance evaluations, set clear goals and provide ongoing feedback, foster a culture of diversity and inclusion.
• Labor Relations: Manage labor relations, address and resolve labor issues, ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
• Strategic Business Planning: Develop and implement strategic business plans, collaborate with regional and corporate teams, align store goals with overall company objectives.
• Profitability and Financial Management: Manage store budgets, analyze sales and performance data, implement strategies to drive sales and profitability while controlling costs.
• Operational Excellence: Oversee daily store operations, ensure compliance with laws and policies, delegate responsibilities, maintain sanitation and safety, maintain high standards.
• Merchandising and Sales: Ensure store stock, cleanliness, visual appeal, oversee merchandising, product placement, promotions, inventory management, develop sales strategies.
• Community Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with local organizations, participate in community events, promote community engagement.
• Customer Service Excellence: Create culture of best-in-class customer service, ensure customers experience a well-stocked store, handle inquiries promptly, implement continuous improvement strategies.

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or related field or equivalent years of work experience.
• Minimum of 5 years in retail management with strong understanding of all store operations.
• Proven track record of leading and developing high‑performing teams.
• Demonstrated leadership and management skills, inspiring and guiding teams to achieve goals.
• Knowledge of safe food handling practices and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, planning, and organizational skills.
• Strong analytical and strategic planning abilities.
• High level of customer service skills and passion for delivering an exceptional customer experience.
• Effective organizational, time‑management, and delegation skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Salary range: $74,400 - $150,000.
