Applied Dynamics is a leading industrial sales & service company headquartered in Greenfield, MA.
Electro-Mechanical Field Service Technician- Travel to customer sites to provide on‑site services, including electric motor, pump, gearbox installation and removal.
- Provide on‑site balancing services.
- Perform preventative maintenance, such as lubrication of equipment, oil sampling, and belt adjustment/replacement.
- Collaborate with engineering and support teams to troubleshoot complex technical issues and implement improvements.
- Deliver top‑notch customer service, ensuring client satisfaction through clear communication and professional conduct.
- Maintain detailed records of service activities, including reports on maintenance, repairs, and equipment status.
- Technical degree or 5+ years of experience in the industrial maintenance field (preferred).
- Proven experience servicing electro‑mechanical systems, troubleshooting, and repairs.
- Proficient understanding of electrical circuits, mechanical components, and control systems.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license.

Pay is commensurate with experience.
Hoist & Crane Technician- Travel daily to customer facilities in New England to perform OSHA‑compliant inspections, repairs, new equipment installations, and troubleshooting of breakdowns.
- Use company‑assigned vehicles for site visits, often leaving from home straight to job sites.
- Mechanical experience & aptitude

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to work from heights (ladders & manned lifts)
- 5+ years of experience as an electric motor mechanic (preferred).
- Strong mechanical aptitude with willingness to learn and grow within the company.
- Ability to read and follow work instructions, inspect, diagnose, and document results for AC or DC electric motors, pumps, and gearboxes.
- Knowledge of basic testing and measurement instruments (surge, hipot, micrometers, etc.).
- Strong work ethic with a sense of urgency.
