Mobile Maintenance Mechanic What this job involves
The Maintenance Mechanic supports operation, inspection, and maintenance processes of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and kitchen equipment and systems in assigned facilities. They assist Mobile Engineers (HVAC/R) and Control Systems Technicians in maintenance and repair efforts, as well as independently performing defined tasks.
What is your day to day?- Maintain lighting system bulbs and ballasts
- Assist the operations team in the maintenance and repair of building and equipment
- General interior maintenance – HVAC/R coil cleaning, evaporator coil cleaning, kitchen equipment maintenance (meat grinder, cuber, meat saw, slicers, etc.)
- Minor plumbing repairs
- Complete special tasks including painting, locksmith work, tenant services requests, and general maintenance as assigned
- Be on call for after-hours emergencies
- Comply with all policies for the safe storage, usage, and disposal of hazardous materials
- Valid state driver's license
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Self‑motivated, able to work independently or as part of a team
- Completion of an applicable technical training program and at least one year of experience in general building repair, basic plumbing, and basic electrical maintenance
- Ability to climb, bend, kneel, lift, and drive frequently
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
- Tools will be provided to perform assigned work scope
