Commercial Gas Engineer
Location: London (Sites across Greater Kent & London)
Salary: £45,000 per annum
Hours: 40 hours per week (Door-to-Door Pay)

We are a new and growing Facilities Management business based in London, established by industry professionals with over 20 years experience. Our goal is simple: bring gas and mechanical works in-house to improve quality, consistency, and client relationships.
Our core contracts are within schools and care homes, offering stable, long-term work in essential environments where safety, reliability, and professionalism matter.
The Role
As a Commercial Gas Engineer, you will be responsible for the servicing, maintenance, and repair of gas systems across a portfolio of education and care-sector sites. This is a hands-on role suited to an engineer who values stability, proper planning, and being part of a growing in-house team rather than working through subcontract arrangements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Servicing, maintenance, and breakdowns on domestic and commercial boilers
- Working on boilers, plant rooms, and associated pipework
- Carrying out gas safety checks and certification
- Diagnosing faults and completing repairs efficiently
- Ensuring full compliance with Gas Safe and health & safety regulations
- Liaising professionally with site staff and management
- Completing paperwork and reports accurately
- Gas Safe registered
- Domestic qualified (essential)
- Commercial gas qualifications (highly desirable)
- Proven experience working in commercial environments such as schools, care homes, or public sector buildings
- Strong understanding of compliance, safety, and best practice
- Reliable, professional, and well-presented
- Full UK driving licence
- No subcontracting all work carried out in-house
- Stable contracts with repeat clients
- Door-to-door pay (no unpaid travel)
