Per Diem - Patient Service Representative-Greenlawn, Long Island - OFFS

Mount Sinai - 5 Cuba Hill Road - Responsibilities:
Provide front line contact for the department/neighborhood by answering telephones, directing and responding to callers, relaying messages to appropriate recipients and greeting patients and visitors with the highest level of customer service;
Provide clerical and administrative support to physicians and act as a liaison between departments;
Direct patients to appropriate setting and facilitate patient flow;
Schedule appointments for a multi-specialty group and maintain knowledge of providers, systems, processes, and services rendered;
Ensure documents are reviewed and signed and patient information is accurately documented in the EMR
