Position: Patient Service Representative - Authorizations, Greenlawn, Long Island, Full Time, Days, Offsite
Mount Sinai - 5 Cuba Hill Road - Responsibilities:
Provide front line contact for the department/neighborhood by answering telephones, directing and responding to callers, relaying messages to appropriate recipients and greeting patients and visitors with the highest level of customer service.;
Provide clerical and administrative support to physicians and act as a liaison between departments.;
Help direct patients to appropriate setting and facilitate patient flow.;
Schedule appointments for a multi-specialty group and understand providers, systems, processes, and services rendered.;
Ensure patients are prepared for their appointment and inform them of items to bring and applicable practice policies.
