Staff Accountant

As a Senior Staff Accountant, you won’t just “support the numbers”, you’ll sit at the center of how the business actually runs. This role gives you your hands on everything from the general ledger to rebate programs. You’ll keep the books tight, own key reconciliations, and play a real part in month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end close.

You’ll be the person leaders rely on when something doesn’t look right. That means digging into AR issues, spotting EDI glitches, and making sure credit card activity and customer setups are clean and compliant. You’ll help prep budgets, support audits, and keep the financial reporting engine running smoothly.

And because this team values improvement over “we’ve always done it this way,” you’ll also shape how the accounting function evolves. You'll be fixing gaps, tightening controls, and simplifying workflows so things run better tomorrow than they did today.

• Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
• Perform account reconciliations (bank accounts, prepaid items, accruals, etc.)
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
• Assist in preparing internal and external financial reports
• Support accounts receivable functions as needed
• Assist with annual budget preparation and audits
• Support process improvement efforts within the accounting department
• Other duties as assigned

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3-5+ years of accounting experience
• Solid understanding of GAAP and standard accounting practices
• Strong proficiency in Excel and accounting software
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Experience in a manufacturing or multi-entity accounting environment preferred
• Familiarity with ERP systems such as D365 preferred
