Corporate Accountant

Our client, a well-established and growing company with corporate headquarters in central NC has an immediate need for a Corporate Accountant. This role will play an important part in supporting the monthly close process and maintaining accurate, timely financial records. The position is hybrid with the option of being based in the Triad (central NC) but is willing to consider candiates for the Raleigh-Durham and Charlotte areas as well

Responsibilities include preparing journal entries, performing account and bank reconciliations, reviewing invoices, analyzing account activity and variances, maintaining month-end schedules and work papers, and assisting with financial reporting and audit requests. The position will also provide opportunities to identify process improvements and support a variety of accounting and analytical projects. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional looking to build on their experience and take on a broader corporate accounting role.

• BA/BS in Accounting or Finance prefered
• Working knowledge of genearl ledger accounting
• Strong experience with month-end clost processes
• The ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environmebnt is important.
