Part-Time On-site Bookkeeper

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to support daily financial operations for a staffing and recruitment organization in Greensboro, North Carolina. This Long-term Contract opportunity is an onsite, part-time role offering up to 20 hours each week. The ideal candidate will bring strong bookkeeping experience and a consistent approach to managing payables, receivables, reconciliations, and balance sheet accuracy.

Responsibilities:

- Oversee day-to-day bookkeeping activities to maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records

- Process vendor invoices, prepare payments, and track outstanding accounts payable items

- Monitor incoming payments, post customer receipts, and follow up on accounts receivable balances as needed

- Reconcile bank statements and related accounts to ensure financial data is complete and accurate

- Review balance sheet accounts regularly and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner

- Support ongoing financial organization by maintaining documentation and ensuring records are properly filed Requirements - Proven experience in bookkeeping within a business environment that requires strong attention to detail

- Working knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes

- Experience completing bank reconciliations with a high level of accuracy

- Familiarity with balance sheet review and account reconciliation practices

- Ability to work onsite in Greensboro, North Carolina for up to 20 hours per week

- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage part-time responsibilities effectively
