Job Scope

We are seeking an experienced Data Entry Specialist. This position is based in Greensboro, NC and will report to the Controller. This role works in conjunction with Compliance Specialists to ensure accuracy of Resident Certifications.

Qualifications
  • Knowledge with MS Office Suite including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel (including Excel functions)
  • Ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Prior experience in Res Man software or other property management system, a plus
  • Prior experience in RD and RD/Tax Credit work a plus
Abridged Primary Responsibilities
  • Review RD and Rd/Tax Credit files for the following:
    • Appropriate and necessary documentation
    • Completed documentation
    • Accurate computations of income, assets, deductions, utility allowances, and rent amounts
    • Appropriate signatures
    • Approvals from appropriate personnel
  • Input paperwork into Res Man
  • Work closely with Property Managers, Site Managers, and Compliance Specialist to answer questions about files.
  • Notify Site Managers of missing/incorrect documentation that is needed to complete a file and process items as they are received.
  • Ensure correct documentation is obtained when rental assistance is assigned.
  • Travel to properties to conduct training and assistance as needed.
