Receptionist – Weekends Position Summary
Piedmont Hills Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking a Weekend Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for residents, visitors, families, and staff. This position is responsible for creating a welcoming, professional experience while providing administrative and clerical support to ensure the smooth operation of the front office during weekend shifts
. The ideal candidate is organized, customer-focused, and enjoys working in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Greet visitors, residents, vendors, and staff in a friendly and professional manner.
Answer and direct incoming telephone calls promptly and accurately.
Transfer calls to the appropriate staff members or voicemail when necessary.
Provide general information regarding the facility, including directions, contact information, and services.
Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and deliveries.
Coordinate outgoing express mail services (Fed Ex, UPS, etc.).
Assist with ordering, stocking, and distributing office supplies.
Perform general clerical duties, including copying, filing, scanning, faxing, and data entry.
Support process improvement initiatives that enhance customer service and office efficiency.
Assist with special projects and additional administrative duties as assigned.
High school diploma or GED required.
Six months to one year of receptionist, customer service, or general office experience preferred.
Excellent telephone etiquette and interpersonal communication skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise professionalism at all times.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Positive attitude, dependable work ethic, and commitment to outstanding customer service.
Flexible, adaptable, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
Must be available to work weekends on a consistent schedule.
