** How you will create an impact
** This role serves as the overall leader for the AIG HVAC business and report directly to the Global Head of Business Development for Warranty & Service Programs. This role will be the reporting manager for the Director of Sales, AVP HVAC Operations, and HVAC account management functions. The VP of HVAC will set the strategic vision, goals, and ensure implementation of plans to drive growth and profitability to this exciting business.
This role has high visibility within the AIG organization as well as in the HVAC and Warranty industries. This role has the right blend of external sales experience and organizational skills to drive initiatives through implementation.
* Serve as a business leader, director of the overall business and coach to manage a complete team of 20 FTEs to help achieve growth and profitability goals.
* Maintain, develop and grow strategic partnerships with HVAC OEM, distributor, dealer, insure tech and other distribution partners at the highest executive levels.
* Work with the Director of Sales to develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet KPIs and expand the HVAC customer base.
* Support the HVAC Operations department to ensure the business operates smoothly including sales processing, claim payments, and implementing technological tools to support clients.
* Understand the idiosyncrasies of each account, identifying decision makers, and tailoring approach to align with the internal processes of the accounts.
* Analyze critical data from CRM platforms to create and assess sales performance tracking and activity to implement strategies for opportunities and improvements for new and existing clients.
* Ownership over the HVAC P&L.
* Performs other duties as required to support AIG’s account growth objectives and strategic initiatives.
** What you’ll need to succeed
*** 10+ years knowledge of the HVAC and/or Warranty Industry
* 5+ years leadership experience managing a team
* Experience managing/owning a business P&L
* Ability to analyze market and industry trends to identify potential areas of growth
* Ability to work within CRM programs to deliver performance-based reporting
* Skilled in sales approaches, sales training, and ability to foster authentic trust in client relationships
* Skilled in negotiations, expectation setting, and delivering on promises.
* Ability to develop materials and present in a highly professional manner to executives and key stakeholders - both internal and external.
