Senior Data Analyst

Responsibilities

• Liaison with internal stakeholders and partners in the organization.
• Conducting an analysis to identify the impact of process changes in areas of opportunity.
• Formulates and presents strategy changes, impact analysis, and testing results to peers and leadership.
• Interprets data to identify business trends, conduct root cause analysis of business problems, or suggest areas for business process improvement.
• Assess current practices, collect information and analyze industry trends to help determine operational objectives.

• 3-5 years of business analysis experience, preferably in financial services, legal recovery or collections.
• Proficient at developing and maintaining reporting packages through visualization tools (Power BI or R shiny preferred).
• Able to write complex join, union, pivot, common table expression query statements for complex data calculations using time window functions in SQL.
• Familiarity with computerized modeling and how to utilize models in data sets.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve complex data quality issues or other business problems.
• Intermediate-level experience in business analysis using data analytic tools.
• Conceptual thinking and problem-solving skills utilizing Excel or other statistical packages to analyze data for potential solutions.
• Strong PowerPoint skills as well as formal presentation skills.
• BA/BS degree, preferably in a Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM) or another field.
