What You'll DoThe Peer Support/Crisis Care Professional Supervisor must demonstrate the Agency’s purpose, philosophy, policies, and procedures. The Supervisor works as a team member and oversees the day‑to‑day activities and needs of the clients in their care. They provide support such as mentoring, skill‑building, and working with youth to build their natural support systems. Peer Support/Crisis Care Professional Supervisor provides leadership and support to direct reports.
The position requires therapeutic ability and experience working with neglected and abused children in a homeless shelter.

Qualifications- Minimum of 21 years of age.
- Lived experience – both as someone who experienced homelessness, received mental health treatment, and successfully maintained permanent safe and stable housing.
- Education and/or Experience – High School Diploma and one to two years’ experience and/or training.
- Language Skills – Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of clients or employees of the organization.
- Mathematical Skills – Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
- Reasoning Ability – Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
- Certificates, Licenses, Registrations – Valid North Carolina Driver’s License.
