Heavy Construction Superintendent

Sargent, an employee-owned heavy civil contractor, is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead field operations on infrastructure projects across the Piedmont-Triad.

In this role, you'll manage all aspects of project execution on-site - from safety, scheduling, and subcontractor coordination to team leadership and quality control.

Key Responsibilities:

* Supervise crews and subcontractors on heavy civil projects

* Ensure safety compliance and conduct weekly safety meetings

* Interpret plans and oversee day-to-day operations

* Track production, maintain records, and submit timecards

* Coordinate resources and manage project timelines

* Support and mentor field staff

Requirements:

* 3+ years of heavy construction supervisory experience

* Strong background in earthwork and/or utility installation

* OSHA 30 certification or ability to obtain

* Valid driver's license

* Strong leadership and communication skills

* Ability to travel regularly to project sites
