Zachary Piper is hiring a Project Estimator to support pricing for construction projects for retail, hospital, and municipality customers on-site in Greensboro, NC
.
- Manage quantity takeoffs, estimation, GMP development, and cost analysis
- Review project documents, develop budgets, pricing, evaluate subcontractor and supplier proposals during preconstruction process
- Identify potential project risks, opportunities, and cost impacts with subcontractors and suppliers
- Participate in pre-bod meetings, site visits, and project interviews
- Perform constructability reviews, value engineering analyses, and cost-saving evaluations.
- Associates Degree in a relevant field
- 5+ years of experience in construction estimating
- Experience with Blu Beam, Sage, Excel, or similar estimating system
- Strong Cost Analysis Experience
- Must be able to pass a government background check
- Salary Range: 80k-95k
