Construction Manager

Responsibilities

• Oversee all construction activities from inception to move-in
• Conduct twice-daily home walks to monitor progress
• Supervise all construction activities on homes from start to finish
• Negotiate solutions raised by inspectors and trade partners
• Manage daily trade partner communications and invoice approvals through Build Pro
• Ensure job site cleanliness, safety, and adherence to State & Federal building codes
• Maintain accurate safety logs and conduct regular on-site safety meetings
• Perform Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan inspections as required
• Collaborate with internal teams, including sales and customer care

• High school diploma or GED required, college degree preferred, or 3-5 years' experience in home building/construction
• Experience in residential construction management required
• Strong organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills
• Tech-savvy with proficiency in Microsoft Office, Build Pro, Procore, and other construction management software
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record
• Valid auto insurance coverage
• Knowledge of construction practices and building codes
• Ability to read blueprints
• Capable of managing multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Requires the ability to work more than eight hours per day in confined quarters of a construction trailer

Demonstrates expertise in residential construction management, including overseeing construction activities, ensuring compliance with building codes, and maintaining safety standards. Proficient in managing trade partner communications and utilizing construction management software to enhance project efficiency.
