About the OpportunityOur client is a well-established commercial general contractor seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their growing Raleigh team. This is an excellent opportunity for a construction professional with a strong track record managing projects from preconstruction through closeout.
The ideal candidate will have experience with multifamily, healthcare, or other commercial general construction projects and be comfortable managing budgets, schedules, subcontractors, owners, and project teams.
Key Responsibilities- Manage commercial construction projects from preconstruction through completion
- Oversee project budgets, schedules, contracts, and procurement
- Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors
- Lead project meetings and maintain strong client relationships
- Review plans, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and change orders
- Track project financials, schedule progress, and overall performance
- Partner with field leadership to ensure quality, safety, and timely completion
- Identify and resolve project issues before they impact cost or schedule
- 5+ years of commercial construction Project Management experience
- Experience with multifamily, healthcare, or commercial general construction
- Strong understanding of construction processes, contracts, and project controls
- Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and subcontractors
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
- Proficiency with construction management software such as Procore preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred
- Strong pipeline of commercial projects in the Raleigh market
