Creative Director

Eden Brothers is one of the largest online retailers of flower bulbs and seeds in the United States and is located in Arden, North Carolina. Our mission is to help gardeners of all experience levels create beautiful, thriving landscapes through premium products and expert guidance. Important Note: This role is open to candidates in the southeastern US. Candidates based in western North Carolina (Asheville, Arden and surrounding areas) are preferred.

Position Summary

The Creative Director is a key, impactful role that sits on our Marketing team. This role shapes how our brand shows up every day across campaigns, advertising, packaging, site design, print and more. You will both lead and produce creative assets, while also developing systems that make our work consistent, scalable, and performance driven.

The ideal candidate is a skilled designer and creative strategist. They have deep experience working in Figma and Adobe, enjoy collaboration with agency and in-house partners, and produce polished, high-quality design work. They bring discipline to design systems and production, while evolving creative to meet ecommerce performance needs.

This role is perfect for a senior designer ready to grow into creative leadership and make a strong positive impact with a forward-thinking, rapidly growing ecommerce brand.

• Lead and produce campaign assets across email, advertising, print and social.
• Design a high-volume of creative variations optimized for performance and insight.
• Drive creative strategy loops – interpreting insights and refining messaging and visuals.
• Translate positioning, product storytelling, and seasonal narratives into compelling assets.
• Collaborate closely with our agency partners on brand, advertising, and web development.
• Own Figma design systems, asset libraries, templates and component structures.
• Document and enforce creative guidelines across internal and external teams.
• Partner with VP of Marketing to scale design standards and templates as the brand grows.

• Bring our brand identity to life across all touchpoints – packaging, unboxing, website, etc.
• Partner with product, sales and service teams to ensure visual alignment across CX.
• Elevate the look-and-feel of our brand with thoughtful layouts, messaging, and imagery.
• Stay current on design trends, ecommerce creative standards, and competitor activity.
• Proactively identify opportunities to improve creative workflows or asset quality.
• Build a reference library of inspiration and best-in-class creative executions.
• Contribute ideas to keep brand creative fresh, engaging, and differentiated.

• 6+ years of design experience in e-commerce, brand, or agency settings.
• Advanced proficiency in Figma and Adobe, with experience managing design systems.
• Strong portfolio of digital creative across campaigns, advertising, and web.
• Ability to balance production volume with design quality.
• Experience collaborating with agency partners and cross-functional teams.
• Ambitious, organized, and reliable in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Passion for design that blends brand storytelling with performance outcomes.
• Has a growth mindset and is excited to scale their impact as the company grows.
