Mechanical Designer & Estimator

• Upholds and Adheres to Hoffman Hydronics Core Values
• Creates preliminary proposal layouts of packages for sale using AutoCAD
• Estimates package fabrication costs for sale using Microsoft Excel
• Works with sales on design of package
• Creates 3D models of packages and submittal drawings for sale using Autodesk Inventor
• Creates suite of fabrication drawings for product team
• Troubleshoots with production team
• Addresses any other loose ends as required to complete and ship out a package
• Creates 3D model libraries
• Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

• Associates Degree required
• 3+ years of mechanical design experience required; 5+ years experience preferred
• Highly developed interpersonal and analytical skills

Working Conditions:

• Normal office environment
• Moderate lifting may be required to move equipment, files and supplies
• Flexibility to work outside of normal office hours to ensure task are completed
