This role offers the opportunity to work with state-of-the-art technology and support a vital specialty in a 628-bed facility dedicated to excellent patient outcomes.

Required Skills:

• Board Certification in Cardiology
• Valid North Carolina Medical License
• 1 to 2 years of clinical experience in cardiology
• Proficiency in general cardiology procedures and patient management
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
• Proficient in using the EPIC EMR system

Nice to Have

Skills:

• Experience in hospital-based general cardiology care
• Familiarity with advanced cardiology technologies
• Additional certifications in cardiovascular care

Preferred

Education and Experience:

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Prior experience in a hospital setting, ideally within a similar-sized facility
• Demonstrated ability to handle a diverse adult patient population

Other Requirements:

• Willingness to work night shifts as scheduled
• Ability to adapt to variable work hours based on hospital needs
• Commitment to compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards
• No licensing assistance provided; candidate must hold current North Carolina license
• Credentialing process estimated at 60-90 days

This position offers an hourly pay rate of $232.44, with additional compensation for holidays at 1.5 times the standard rate—applicable on key federal holidays, including New Year's, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. The shift schedule is primarily night hours, including 12-hour night shifts.
