We are looking for an intern to join our Culture, Equity, and Belonging team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks and will work closely with the Chief Equity & Belonging Officer, Program Manager, and Program Coordinator to support team goals.
This internship position is a time-limited, temporary position with a start date and orientation on Monday, June 1, 2026. The total number of hours that an intern can work during this timeframe is 250 hours.
Interns hired for the summer cohort will be enrolled in Campus Greensboro's
Summer Fellows Program
. This is an in-person, professional development training program sponsored by Cone Health.
To be considered, candidates must meet at least one of the below criteria
:
Local College Students
:
Attendees of local institutions including University of North Carolina at Greensboro, Guilford College, Greensboro College, Guilford Technical Community College, Bennett College, Elon University and School of Law, North Carolina A&T State University.
Guilford County High School Graduates
:
Those who graduated from Guilford County high schools and are now furthering their education outside of Greensboro.
First Generation College Students
:
Students who are the first in their families to attend any college or university.

Responsibilities
- Update and/or revise the CEB Sharepoint site
- Create PowerPoint presentations and revise and organize existing presentations
- Create and maintain a CEB calendar of events
- Create and maintain a system for tracking CEB initiatives and projects such as Inclusion Networking Groups, the Culture and Belonging Champions, the Caring Fund and the Community Impact Council)
- Create a system for electronic report management (weekly, quarterly and board reports)
- Act as backup for managing mailboxes
- Administrative duties as assigned
Requirements
- Comprehensive skills in Microsoft 365/Office
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to generate ideas and tools for efficiency
Education
- Required:
Must be in process of a college-level degree in a related field and a student in good standing.
Applicants must be at least the age of 16 to be employed as Cone Health High School-level interns (work-authorization required).
