Assistant/Associate Professor - Family and Consumer Sciences [Gerontology]

This is a 12‑month non‑tenure track research faculty appointment.
Primary Responsibilities- Establish and maintain a research program through interdisciplinary collaborations leading to grant writing and publications.
- Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in family and consumer sciences, particularly in the gerontology area.
- Participate in curriculum development.
- Engage in accreditation procedures, program coordination, and program assessment.
- Serve on department, college, and university committees and participate in other research and academic functions.
- Earned Ph.D. in Gerontology or a related discipline from an accredited university, with a specialization in social gerontology or sociological perspectives on the life course.
- A record of research excellence demonstrated by peer‑reviewed publications and a strong record of grant writing and extramural funding or significant scholarship.
