Part-Time Instructor | Applied Engineering Technology

Primary Purpose Of Position

The Department of Applied Engineering Technology is accepting applications for Part‑Time Instructors for fall 2025 or spring 2026. Part‑time instructors are hired on a semester‑by‑semester basis to teach courses in Applied Engineering Technology, Automotive Engineering Technology, Computer Graphics Technology, and Technology Management. The maximum teaching load is four courses per semester.

• Teach in or online courses.
• Participate in teaching training.
• Collect and assess data on student learning.
• Attend department faculty and staff meetings.
• Submit teaching materials for semester review.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• Master’s degree in a related engineering or technology field at the time of application.

• Minimum of one year teaching experience at the university or community college level.
• Related industrial experience.

This position may be eligible for a remote or hybrid work arrangement, consistent with university and state policies.
