Part-Time Instructor | Kinesiology

Primary Purpose of Position

Part‑Time Instructors are invited to apply for the Fall 2025 term. Instructors will be hired on a semester‑by‑semester basis to teach introductory and advanced level courses in the Department of Kinesiology.

• Teach face‑to‑face and/or online courses delivered by the Department of Kinesiology.
• Attend training and/or review sessions as required.
• Provide academic advising, support student‑run organizations, and participate in program development and assessment.
• Work cooperatively with faculty and staff within the department and the university.

• Master’s of Science degree in Kinesiology or Exercise Science with a clear specialization in Exercise Science.
• At least two years of teaching experience at the university or community college level.

• PhD with a scientific background.
• 3–5 years of university or community college teaching experience and a background in strength and conditioning.
• Certifications preferred: CSCS, EP‑C, RCEP or equivalent.

Position is eligible for a remote or hybrid work arrangement consistent with university and state policies; employees are generally required to reside in North Carolina within a 2‑hour commuting distance of their assigned duty station.
