Part‑Time Instructor | Visual and Performing Arts (Theatre)
Position OverviewThe Department of Visual and Performing Arts invites applications for Part‑Time Instructors for Fall 2026. Part‑Time Instructors are hired on a semester‑by‑semester basis to teach courses in Theatre and Visual Arts.
Responsibilities- Teach introductory courses in Theatre, including face‑to‑face courses such as Acting for Non‑Theatre Majors; other courses may be assigned as needed.
- Attend training and/or review sessions.
- Contribute to a collaborative departmental environment and work cooperatively with faculty and staff in the department and university.
An MFA in Theatre Arts or a closely related field from an accredited institution is required.
Preferred Qualifications- Prior college‑level teaching experience.
- Expertise in one or more areas within Theatre.
This position may be eligible for a remote or hybrid work arrangement, consistent with university and state policies.
