Part-Time Instructor | Kinesiology

Position Overview

The Department of Kinesiology invites applications for Part‑Time Instructors for fall 2025. Part‑Time Instructors are hired on a semester‑by‑semester basis to teach courses delivered by the Department of Kinesiology. The successful candidate is expected to teach introductory and advanced level courses within the department.

• Teach face‑to‑face and/or online courses.
• Attend training and review sessions.
• Provide academic advising.
• Support student organizations.
• Participate in program development and assessment.
• Work cooperatively with faculty and staff in the department and university.

• Master’s of Science degree in Kinesiology or Exercise Science with a clear specialization in Exercise Science.
• At least two years of teaching experience at the university or community college level.

• PhD with a scientific background.
• 3‑5 years of teaching experience at the university or community college level.
• Background in strength and conditioning.
• Preferred certifications: CSCS, EP‑C, RCEP or equivalents.
