Primary Purpose of Position
The Department of Psychology invites applications for Part-Time Instructors for fall 2025 semester. Part-Time Instructors are hiredon a semester-by-semester basis to teach psychology courses.
The successful candidate is expected to teach introductory and advanced level courses by the Department of Psychology .Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: teachface-to-face and/or online courses, attend training and/or review sessions. Additional duties will include, but are not limited to,academic advising of students, supporting student organizations,participating in program development and assessment. The candidate will be expected to work cooperatively with faculty and staff inthe department and university.
Primary Function of Organizational UnitThe mission of the Department of Psychology orients students to the various fields of human activities that require application of psychological knowledge. The Department of Psychology is responsible for delivering the curriculum that will lead to a Psychology, as well as providing support courses for General Education for non-majors. This is accomplished through appropriate course work, laboratory sessions, research projects, and empirical experiences. In addition, the program seeks to instill core valuesof commitment, integrity, and dedication in teaching, research, and community service.
The Department of Psychology is within the College of Health and Human Sciences.

Minimum RequirementsCandidates must have a Master’s degree in Psychology at the time of application.
Preferred Years Experience, Skills, Training,EducationCandidates with 1-3 years teaching experience at the University or Community College level is preferred.
Required License or CertificationIs this position eligible for a remote or hybrid work arrangement, consistent with university and state policies.
