Music Teacher

Music & Arts seeks a passionate Music Teacher for our retail lesson studio. In this role, you'll provide private and small group instruction for beginner and intermediate students on band or orchestral instruments, guitar, piano, or voice. You'll create engaging lesson plans, track student progress, and prepare learners for performances and school programs. Working closely with store staff, you'll support rental and accessory recommendations that enhance learning.

You'll foster a welcoming, inclusive environment aligned with our student focused, community driven culture and may participate in recitals, outreach events, and in store educational activities.

Responsibilities

• Provide private and small-group music lessons to beginner and intermediate students
• Develop and adapt lesson plans to meet individual student goals and school program needs
• Assess and track student progress, providing feedback to students and parents
• Prepare students for recitals, auditions, and school performances
• Collaborate with store team to recommend rentals, instruments, and accessories that support learning
• Maintain an engaging, inclusive, and safe learning environment in the lesson studio
• Communicate schedules, expectations, and progress updates with families and store staff
• Participate in in-store events, recitals, and community outreach when needed
