SUMMARY St. Vincent Prep Academy is currently looking for Behavioral Specialists for grades pre-K-5 for the 2024 school year.

PRIMARY DUTIES Utilize behavior modification techniques to monitor progress and promote growth.

• Implement and use Trauma Informed Care. Assist with planning for school and summer programming and special events. Promote parental involvement.
• Provide crisis intervention as necessary. Facilitate behavior group as needed.
• Act as a role model to children to promote appropriate interaction and coping skills.
• Assist transportation services with boarding and de-boarding the children.
• Provide a safe, structured environment free from physical, verbal or emotional abuse for each child.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE &

SKILLS:

• High school diploma plus 3 years of experience working with children required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred (Bachelor’s degree does not require 3 years of experience).
