Overview
The Department of Educator Preparation invites applications for Part-Time Instructors for fall 2025. Part-Time Instructors are temporary employees, hired on a semester-by-semester basis to teach Education Preparation courses. The successful candidate is expected to teach introductory and advanced level courses. Responsibilities include teaching face-to-face and/or online, attending training or review sessions, and other duties such as academic advising, supporting student organizations, and participating in program development and assessment.
The candidate will be expected to work cooperatively with faculty and staff in the department and university.
- Teach introductory and advanced Education Preparation courses (face-to-face and/or online).
- Attend training and/or review sessions.
- Academic advising of students and support for student organizations.
- Participate in program development and assessment.
- Collaborate cooperatively with faculty and staff within the department and university.
An earned doctoral degree or master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction, or a closely related field from an accredited university.
Preferred Qualifications- Minimum 1–3 years of K-12 teaching experience at the university or community college level.
