Part‑Time Instructor – Liberal Studies
Primary
Purpose:
To teach introductory and advanced level courses in Liberal Studies, including "Introduction to Liberal Studies," "African American Studies," "Introduction to Race, Class, and Culture," philosophy courses such as "Introductory Logic" and "World Religions," and introductory courses in Spanish and French.
- Teach face‑to‑face and/or online courses as scheduled.
- Attend training and review sessions.
- Provide academic advising to students.
- Support student organizations.
- Participate in program development and assessment.
- Collaborate cooperatively with faculty and staff.
- Master’s degree in Philosophy for philosophy courses.
- Master’s degree in Liberal Studies or a related field for liberal studies courses.
- Master’s degree or higher in Spanish or French for language courses.
- 1–3 years of teaching experience in the subject area.
- Recruitment salary commensurate with education and experience.
- Part‑time temporary appointment; no permanent employee benefits listed.
