Job Summary:

The Department of Biology invites applications for Part‑Time Instructors for fall 2025, summer 2025, or spring 2026. Part‑Time Instructors are hired on a semester‑by‑semester basis to teach courses delivered by the Department. This is a temporary position.

• Teach introductory and advanced level courses delivered by the Department of Biology; courses may be face‑to‑face and/or online.
• Attend training and/or review sessions as required.
• Provide academic advising to students.
• Support student organizations.
• Participate in program development and assessment.
• Collaborate cooperatively with faculty and staff in the department and university.

• MS or PhD in Biology or related field at the time of application.

• Teaching experience at the university or community college level.

This position may be eligible for a remote or hybrid work arrangement, consistent with university and state policies. N.C. A&T employees are generally required to reside in North Carolina, within a 2-hour commuting distance of their assigned duty station.
