Description of Work This is a full-time faculty position with the primary responsibility of planning and conducting professional development on mathematics topics for PreK-12 teachers, with an emphasis in grades K-8.

Job Responsibilities:

- Plan and teach programming that contains a working knowledge of adult learning theory, relevancy, high-quality content, concrete (“hands-on”) learning.

-Complete required administrative tasks associated with Center programs to ensure that teachers, schools, and districts have the highest quality programming experience.

-Actively participate in NCCAT related programming meetings, informal and formal conversations, projects, programming calendar development, and other communicative duties as assigned.

-Work with the development officer and other staff to write and submit grants, administer grants, and submit all required documentation as required by the grantor. All grants are required to be pre-approved and/or assigned by the Executive Director.

-Initiate and host communication with teachers following the latest technology social media trends.

-Obtain, or be willing to obtain upon employment, certification in First Aid, CPR and AED certification.
