Position Overview
    Primary Purpose of Position The Chair of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECEN) serves as the academic leader and chief administrative officer of the department. Reporting to the Dean of the College of Engineering, the Chair leads faculty and staff to advance the department’s research, teaching, ABET accreditation, and service missions. Key responsibilities include strategic budget management, faculty recruitment and mentoring, curriculum advancement, and cultivation of corporate, donor, and alumni partnerships.

The Chair fosters an environment of research excellence aligned with strategic college clusters while ensuring graduate competitiveness.
