Our client, a leading global manufacturer in the automotive/commercial vehicle industry, is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to join their team.
As a Supplier Quality Engineer
, you will be part of the Supplier Network Quality (SNQ) Department supporting Volvo Group Managers, SNQ Engineers, and Surface Treatment Specialists
.

- Conduct supplier process audits and follow‑up visits to ensure compliance with APQP deliverables.
- Communicate regularly with Volvo Group Managers and SNQ teams regarding APQP progress, PPAP status, and project roadblocks.
- Perform quality assurance activities to verify suppliers meet engineering, manufacturing, and quality requirements.
- Review and analyze corrective action reports and drive actions to reduce or eliminate defects.
- Decide when suppliers are approved and permitted to begin shipping production parts.
- 2–5 years of relevant supplier quality, manufacturing, or automotive industry experience.
- Strong understanding of APQP, PPAP, and supplier quality processes.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. - Solid problem‑solving skills and the ability to handle difficult issues.
- Experience communicating across technical and cross‑functional teams.
