• Evaluate existing manufacturing processes for large modular assemblies and identify improvement opportunities
• Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives as directed, to improve safety, quality, cost, delivery, and labor efficiency
• Research, evaluate, and engage vendors and equipment suppliers to support manufacturing improvements
• Provide day‑to‑day manufacturing engineering support, troubleshoot production issues, and support new product introductions
• Support factory layout optimization, material flow improvements, and labor efficiency initiatives
• Develop detailed ROI and business case proposals for capital expenditures, including cost‑benefit analysis and payback calculations
• Research, evaluate, and contact vendors and equipment suppliers to identify new manufacturing solutions
• Coordinate equipment demonstrations, trials, and feasibility studies
• Provide day‑to‑day manufacturing engineering support to production teams
• Troubleshoot manufacturing issues related to fabrication, assembly, piping, electrical integration, and testing
• Support the introduction of new products, designs, or module configurations into manufacturing
• Support quality initiatives, including root cause analysis, corrective actions, and process capability improvements

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering (or related field), or equivalent experience.
• 3–7+ years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role
• Proven experience evaluating manufacturing processes and leading improvement initiatives
• Demonstrated ability to develop ROI‑based business cases for capital and process improvements. Experience working with vendors and equipment suppliers
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills
• Proficiency with manufacturing documentation and standard work development
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, production‑focused environment
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Continuous Improvement tools
• Experience with welding, piping, mechanical assembly, electrical integration, and system testing (preferred)

This is a Permanent position based out of Greensboro, NC.

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
